My library already has a flickr site
my library
so I did some searches.
It amazes me how many people post personal pictures for anyone to see.
I guess I'm paranoid about the dangers of having things out there for
any psycho to see. But I can see the advantages of libraries and other
businesses to post their pictures.

Thing 2

I found both videos interesting despite them being rather old.
The possibilities for all this Web 2.0 and Library 2.0 stuff is endless
but I can see with the economy the way it is communities not wanting to pay for the needed technology.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that all this "Thinging" isn't just a waist.

Thing 1 -- My very first blog

Hi fellow 23ers,

As my title says this is my very first blog. I've never had any interest in blogging what so ever. But since blogging is part of the 23 Things, here goes. The set-up of all this was pretty easy. The worst part has been deciding on a name and title. Now that all the tough decisions have been made and I've typed my thoughts. It wasn't too bad.
